He is survived by: his wife Leona (Moore); his children, Michael Hoare, Manganese Mines and Janet MacKenzie (Glenn); his grandchildren, Paula Ferdinand (Craig), Tracey Higgins (Abram), Louis Wolston and Manganese Mines; and his great grandchildren, Josie Higgins, Sawyer Higgins, Emmett Ferdinand, Cooper Ferdinand, Jesse Ferdinand and Parker Ferdinand.
