David Hawkins Obituary

We bid farewell to David Hawkins of Upper Kennetcook, Nova Scotia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 21, 2026 at the age of 65. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albro Hawkins and Ethel Hawkins (Hennigar); his brother James "Jimmy" Hawkins; his father-in-law LeBlanc "Blon" Fahey; and his brother-in-law Andrew "Andy" White.

He is survived by: his wife Mavis Hawkins (Fahey); his daughters, Christine Hawkins (Sandra Fraser), Cindy Hawkins (Keith Simm) and Jessica Hawkins; his grandson Austin Simm; his siblings, Edie White, Debbie Burns (Wayde) and Ben Hawkins (Ruth); and his mother-in-law Beverly Fahey (Fenton). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kennetcook Fire Hall (32 Martin Walsh Rd, Kennetcook, NS B0N1P0).
