With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Robert McCurdy (Upper Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" McCurdy and Hilda McCurdy (Myers); his stepmother Muriel; his parents-in-law, Stowell and Edith Rudolph (Millar); his siblings-in-law, Reg, Tom, Jean and Renee; and his grandson Elliott Hill.
He is survived by: his significant other Jeannie Rudolph; his daughters, Paula Ellis (Randy), Janice and Julie (Brian Hill); his grandchildren, Brett (Danielle), Colby (Maddie), Jessica (Connor), Brianna (Ryan), Jayden and Jasper; his great grandchildren, Jailynn and Skylar; his siblings, Ervin (Darlene), Darrell (Krista), Valerie (Philip), Blaine (Debbie) and Cheryl (John); and his in-laws, Kennie, Ronnie (Veronica), Molly (Gordon), Robert (Rhonda), Gordie, Henry (Katherine) and Doug.
No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Middle Stewiacke Rec Association (send etransfers to: [email protected]) or Middle Stewiacke United Church, if so desired.
