David Charles Boyd Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Charles Boyd (Upper Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia), born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Lorena. He is survived by: his wife Madeline (Fillis); his children, Scott of Hamilton, ON, Garth of Grande Prairie, AB, Nadine (Peter Hines) of West Chezzetcook and Coleen of West Chezzetcook; his grandchildren, Brandon, Jessica, Riley, Allie and Jake; and his stepgrandchildren, Aaron, Leanne, Mandi and Katie. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Rowlings Funeral Home (7795 Nova Scotia Trunk 7, Musquodoboit Harbour, NS B0J2E0). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Genevieve's Church (723 E Chezzetcook Rd, Head of Chezzetcook, NS B0J1N0). A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the St. Anselm's Cemetery (7045 NS-207, Head of Chezzetcook, NS B0J2L0).
