He was predeceased by : his parents, Eileen Redmond and Austin Cail; and his siblings, Betty Jean, Laura, Marion and Kenneth.

He is survived by : his wife Darlene Cail (McCallum); his children, Gregory Cail (Rebecca), Hilden and Karen Hill (Tim); his grandchildren, Jayden, Keeley Cail and Hilden; his son Gage Hill; his siblings, Donald (Linda), Herbie (Susan), Evelyn, Joyce, Helen (Martin) and Linda (Greg); and his brothers-in-law, Donald McMaster and Carl McGrath.

Memorial donations may be made to Arthritis Society Canada.
