He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ellis and Florence Ellis; and his siblings, Elmer, Percy (Iva), Harold (June), Maurice (Helen), Veta (Harry) and Hazel (Bob).
He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Kimberlee Sweetser (Seth), Steven Ellis (Sherilee) and Jonathan Ellis (Margaret); his grandchildren, Seanna Pyne (Chris), Joshua Ellis (Marissa) and Faith Sweetser; and his great grandchildren, Lyla Ellis, Emrys Pyne, Everett Pyne and Ivy Ellis.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Wittenburg Baptist Church (777 Wittenburg Rd, Wittenburg, NS B0N2J0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
