He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Patterson VanTassell and Mildred Alice Banks; his son Billy; and his nephew Andre. He is survived by: his significant other Nancy (Campbell); his children, Chipper (Lori), Brookes and Jenna (Mike); his daughter-in-law Joan Hatton; his grandchildren, Broden, Myla, Rigby and Garrett; his stepgrandchildren, Mitch, Travis, Breagh and William; and his sisters, Helen Belanger and Susan VanTassell. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
