She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Hutchison and Margaret Hutchison; and her siblings, Joey, Johnny, David "Bubby", Mary and Annie.

She is survived by : her husband Hugh Roderick MacKay; her children, Hugh Jr. (Patsy Davis), Shirley and David of Baddeck; her grandchildren, Trisha (Jesus), Saskatoon, Natasha (Tim), Richelle (Ryan), Mira, Keshia (Mitchell), Little Bras d'Or and Alana; and her great grandchildren, Dante, Alonso, Emma, Lilly, Harlee, Paisley, Linden, Anthony and Shelby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
