He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hedden and Mabel Hedden (Powless). He is survived by: his children, Valerie Vaughan (Robert), Sandra Pilon (Steve), Richard, Brenda Davies (Jim) and Michael (Darlene). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Colchester East Hants Health Centre Foundation - Palliative Care; Colchester East Hants Hospice Society, where he received excellent care from the staff; or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
