Violet Henley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Violet Henley (Upper Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellison Gale and Mary Gale; her husband Howard; her children, Colleen, Vickey and Elwin; and her siblings, Arnold, Clayton, Walter (Sylvia), Frank (Amy), Ellie (Harold), Ruth (Marshall), Gordon, Stella (Gerald), Leland and Elwyn.
She is survived by: her daughter Sally; her brother Curtis (Barb); and her sisters-in-law, Frances and Lynda. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (41 Butcher Hill Rd, Upper Musquodoboit, NS B0N1X0). A reception was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Upper Musquodoboit Fellowship Hall (8344 Hwy 224, Upper Musquodoboit, NS B0N2M0).
Memorial donations to a local SPCA would be appreciated.
