He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bond and Muriel Bond (Custance); and his siblings, Carl, Lloyd, Robert, James, Gordon and Marjorie.
He is survived by: his wife Jean (Lantz); his children, Krista Kempster and Gregory (Amy); his grandchildren, Jacob and Jaime; his stepgrandchildren, Lindsay and Faith; his sister Mary Withrow; and his sister-in-law Elsie Bond.
