Laurie Demont Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurie Demont (Upper Nine Mile River, Nova Scotia), born in East Gore, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 20, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Demont and Pearl Demont (MacLeod); and his siblings, Freda White, Ronald, Carl, James (Chum), Roy, Larry and Gordon.

He is survived by : his wife Katie (Anthony); his daughters, Jerri Sparks (Todd) of Elmsdale, NS and Paula Ganert (Lyle) of Fox Valley, SK; his grandchildren, Adam, Tyler, Matthew, Samuel, Sara and Daniel; his brothers, Perry (Carol) and Gary (Shirley); and his sisters-in-law, Cheryl, Ruby and Blanche. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made in memory of Laurie to the Upper Nine Mile River Community Hall or Sand Hill Cemetery.
