John Backman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2021, at the age of 86, John Backman (Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Neil Backman and Viola Backman (Zinck); and his sister Darlene. He is survived by : his wife Constance (Kidston); and his brother Ira (Nancy). He is also survived by 4 nephews.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions masks and proof of vaccinations are mandatory to attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St, George's Anglican Church, 6310 St. Margaret's Bay Road, Head of St. Margaret's Bay or Emmanuel Church Cemetery Fund, 322 Herring Cove Road., Halifax, N.S. B3R 1V4, or charity of choice.
