She was predeceased by : her mother Margaret Benjamin; her sons, Cyril and Eddie; her grandson Jason; her sister Dot Beaver; and her siblings-in-law, Mary, Edward Dockrill, Marie, Jim Sweeney, Ron and Dot Dockrill.
She is survived by : her husband Cyril; her children, Michael, Mary (Rick), Robert (Cindy), Andrew (Cathy), Bernadette (Mark) and Stephen (Denise); her daughter-in-law Gwen; her grandchildren, Hayley (Mark), Steve (Patsy), Shannon (Wade), Joey, Robbie, Jasmine (Jacob), Nathan (Angie), Stephanie (Andy), Robert, Megan, Sean and Ashia; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Emma, Sophia, Carter, Claire, Isabella, Osker, James, Quinn, Mary, Allison, Bennett and David; and her family Dr. Peter Petropolis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia in memory of her son Eddie or Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
