“I cannot express how saddened I was to hear of Steve’s passing. We worked tougher at Bell Aliant for a number of years and Steve was a knowledgeable co worker and a great friend. His love for his wife and dogs was first and foremost. His passion for understanding and trouble shooting all things technology based was to be admired. My sincerest condolences to his wife and family, a young soul taken too early. 🥲”

“Melissa and family, I’m heartbroken to hear of Steve’s passing. We’ve worked together for 20+ years (different provinces). Steve and I often shared different opinions but we had mutual respect. It was only last year that Steve called and we had heartfelt conversation on several topics. He will be sadly missed. My thoughts are with you all. Sincerely Randy Parsons”

“I only knew Stephen (Fix) for 2 years but never got to meet him in person. But in those 2 years I got to see what a true gentleman he was. He was the kind calming influence on all of us his Facebook friends. He would regale us with stories of his cooking. Once said I was going to fly over from Old Scotland to New Scotland to try it and he said I was welcome anytime. My love and thoughts go out to his family at this time. You will be truly missed.”
