He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Victoria Beaver of Tangier and James Edgar Mason of Tangier; his grandmother Jamie (Elsie); and his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his children, Verna, Cyril, Cashman, Eric, Florence, Keith, Fergie, Francis-Bunny, Bernice, Noreen, Patricia-Patsy, Gracie, Terry and Julianna; his close friend Johnny; his sisters, Noreen, Francis-Bunny and Patsy; and his children, Sally Becker (Andreas), Nan Duerksen (Russell), James Mason (Patti), Elsie Mason and Charles Mason (Amanda). He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pugwash Seventh-Day Adventist Church (2197 Gulf Shore Rd, Pugwash, NS B0K1L0). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Monument Hill Cemetery (713 Highland Rd, Wallace Grant, NS B0K1E0).
