With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merrill Jamieson of Wallace, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto and Irene; his children, Ronald and Heather; his brothers, Richard and Jerry; and his siblings-in-law, Francis and Carl (Annie).
He is survived by: his significant other Sylvia; his children, Glenn (Gina) and Alison (Mike); his son-in-law Peter (Tracey); his siblings-in-law, Elva and Donald (Donna); his grandchildren, Tyler, William (Chelsie), Aiden, Cameron (Brooke), Ethan (Emilie) and Ashlin; and his great grandchildren, Petra, Claire, Maverick and Kasen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St Andrew's United Church (929 Ferry Rd, Wallace, NS B0K1Y0). A reception was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 2:50 PM to 4:30 PM at the St. Andrew's United Church (929 Ferry Rd, Wallace, NS B0K1Y0).
