It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Hansen (Wallace, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 29, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Erik and Klara; his wife Helen Carruthers; his children, Karen Daniel (Tim), John Hansen (Maisie), Ruth Schell (Mike) and Richard Hansen Jr. (Darla); and his sister Lilly.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a private burial service will be held and a public memorial service will be announced at a later date when people are allowed to gather.
