He was predeceased by : his father Ernest Hickey; his son Shawn Hickey of Kings County; his daughter-in-law Courtney MacDonnell of Cape Breton; and his sister-in-law Gwen Hickey. He is survived by : his children, Cody Hickey and Jessica Hickey of Kentville; his grandsons, Calib and Kayden; his siblings, Ernest (Betty) of Canning, Wayne (Marion) of Sackville, Edward of Port Williams and Darlene Doucette (Paul) of Canning; his nieces, Loni (Rodney), Amelia and Mindy; his nephew Robert (Amanda); his great-nephews, Aiden and Elliott; and his stepmother Geraldine Hickey of Canning. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
