She is survived by: her parent Gladys A. Ward (Fredericks); her children, Wanda Blackburn (Eugene) of Black Rock, Kevin Gates (Gail), Port Dover, Vaughn Gates (Joy) of Waterville and Tim Gates (Cheryl) of Berwick; her grandchildren, Lynda Blackburn (Colleen), Robin Gates-MacLean (Ian), Terri Lynn, Jacob (Chelsey), Shelby, Zachary and Kyle Gates; her great grandchildren, Ryerson, Landen, Mark and Alex; her sisters, Shirley Sweet (late Garth) of Beaverbank and Joyce Hiscock (late Cecil) of Gary, N. B.; and her siblings-in-law, Hazel Ward of Kentville and Ronald Corbett of South Alton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
