He was predeceased by : his parent George "Roy"; his sons, Wade and Douglas; and his siblings, Laura Davison of Margaret Graves, George, Donald, Gordon, Goldburn "Bernie", Wade and Wayne.

He is survived by : his parent Winnifred Bezanson (Fraser); his wife Rose (Pineo); his children, Rosanne Zwicker (Wayne) of Aylesford, Darlene Holmes Jr (Harry), Ross Corner, Floyd (Sharon Dredge), Lakeville, Frank (Lisa Tracey) and Waterville; his siblings, Doreen Chase of New Minas and Robert "Bob" (Debbie Hazlett); his grandchildren, Andrew, Sasha, Douglas, Sabrina, Tiffany, Judy-Lynn, Justin, Mark, Leigh and Kerrie-Ann; and also Kentville.

Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Salvation Army.
