She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Lovett and Gertrude Lovett; her husband Gerald Smith; her siblings, Lamont (Betty), Marjorie (Charlie), Onie (Mont), Bill (Minnie) and Sid (Joan); and her brothers-in-law, Roy (Peggy), Carl (Joy), Laurie (Kathy) and Earl (Evelyn).

She is survived by : her children, Karen Doherty (Art) and Larry (Anne); her siblings-in-law, Ross (Mary) and Joan Lydiard (Denny); and her grandchildren, Darlene, Sherry and Jeff Bell (Natalie). She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
