He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hector Smith and Florence May "Maime" Smith (Allen); and his siblings, Guy, Fred, Reginald, Clayton, Pearl, Shirley and Jean.
He is survived by: his sister Joyce Dickie; and his children, Terrie Chedore (Bill), Chipman (Shirley) and Bill.
