He was predeceased by: his father Harold Babin of West Arichat. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Babin (Samson); his son Nicholas Babin (Marie) of Latham, NY.; his mother Anna Babin of West Arichat; his siblings, Sheila (Timmy) of Bedford and Bruce Babin of West Arichat; his parents-in-law, Leonard Samson (Halifax) and Gail Samson (Halifax); his sister-in-law Shelly Landry (Halifax); his friend Lauren; and his caregiver David. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chris's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.
