He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Hiltz and Ola Hiltz (Kaizer); and his mother-in-law Julia Barkhouse. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Esther Hiltz; his son Davey (Heather); his grandchildren, Jillian (Jeremy), Tim and Lauren (Tristan); and his great grandchildren, Finley and Chip.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Hope Community Church (6625 NS Hwy. #3, Western Shore, NS B0J3M0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Community Church.
