She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldie Rafuse and Frederick Rafuse; her husband John David Ernst; her granddaughter April Boutilier; and her siblings, Marilyn Rafuse, John and Calvin Rafuse.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Hunt (Scott) of Fredericton, NB, David Ernst (Gail) of Martin's River and Barry Ernst.
