Gloria Jean Fahie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Jean Fahie of Westphal, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Butler and Rita Butler of Murphy Cove, NS.; her husband Frank Fahie; her son-in-law Edward Cook; and her siblings, Jim, Raymond, Lawson, Guy, Gerald, Nelson Butler, Elsie Walters, Eva Gentles and Shirley Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, John, Cathy Cook (Edward) and Sharon Hatt (Dave); her grandchildren, Sam Fahie, Scott Fahie and Alison Cook; her brother Graham Butler; and her siblings-in-law, Don Gentles, Verna Butler and Linda Butler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Saint John Xxiii Catholic Church (35 Colby Dr, Dartmouth, NS B2V 1N7). A reception was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
