She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Alfred and Viola Evangeline Garron (O'Connell); her husband Glen Welch; and her siblings, Alfred Garron, Maureen Swift (Garron), Iris Rogers (Garron) and George Garron.
She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Grang and Grammie Grang; her children, Stephen Welch Digby (Glenda), LaReta Titus (Clifton), David Welch (Adeline) and Marlene Norwood (Dan); her grandchildren, Dennis, Curtis, Travis, Jessica (Mike), Cody (Josie), Bethany (Chad), Noah and Sophie; her great grandchildren, Alex, Ben, Lillie, Maddie, Vaida, Dominic, Love, Freedom, Joy and Baby Colt; her siblings, Alva McDormand and Eldridge Garron (Lucinda); her great-niece Mendy Calder; and her caregiver Courtney. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Christ (93 2 St, Westport, NS B0V1H0).
