He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alexander "Sandy" Fraser MacLean and Lila Jane MacLean (Allen); his daughter Justine; the parent of his child Laurie; and his brother Greg (Lynne). He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the P & K MacDonald Funeral Home Limited Chapel (536 Merigomish Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H5E3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:40 PM at the P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel (536 Merigomish Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H5E3).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steve's memory to the Berwick United Church Camp (https://www.berwickcamp.org), Aberdeen Health Foundation or QEII Health Science Centre Foundation (IMCU or ICU units of the Halifax Infirmary).
