She was loved and cherished by many people including: husband: Benny Cox; parents: Glynn and Helen Salter; brother: Wade (Cathy); niece: Spencer; chosen sisters: Gwen Black and Jamie MacLean; pet: Olive; and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and many other friends and relatives.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Alma Fire Hall (80 Alma Loop, Westville, NS B0K2A0). She taught weekly yoga classes in the Annapolis Valley and in Pictou County starting in 2010, with a brief pause during the Covid shutdowns.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Amanda may be made to Aberdeen Palliative Care.
