She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hawboldt and Eliza Hawboldt (Keddy); her husband Ted Rogers; and her siblings, Mary MacKeigan (Melvin), Sally Macdonald (John), Judy Wade (Wayne), Pauline Hawboldt and Robert Hawboldt (Sally).
She is survived by: her children, Maureen Rogers, Westville Donna Canning (Clayton), Kevin Rogers Caribou (Carrie), Derrick Rogers (Barb) and David Rogers Westville (Tanya); her brother Richard Hawboldt Mt (Francis); her niece Susan Watters; her cousin Maureen Lamey (Cookie); her brother-in-law Jerry Rogers; Renie Rogers. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eagles Funeral Home (1611 N Main St, Westville, NS B0K2A0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eagles Funeral Chapel (1611 N Main St, Westville, NS B0K2A0).
In lieu of flowers, any donations to the RCU unit in Pictou, the palliative care unit, or any children's charity of choice would be appreciated.
