Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ella Mae Brightman (Westville, Nova Scotia), born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 62, on December 18, 2019. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Ryan and Marie Ryan (MacDonald); and her siblings, Archie, Hughie and Jessie Burke.

She is survived by : her sons, Shawn Ryan, Jason Chatterton and Barry Brightman; her grandchildren, Tianna O'Laney, Brittney Abbott and Tyson Abbott; her siblings, Ann Lennon, Reta Paddon, Kathleen "Kit" Betts, Mary Ann Corning, Josie Forshner, Eleanor Halliday, John, Alex (Karen) and Michael Ryan (Connie); and her sister-in-law Geraldine Ryan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
