It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Joseph DeCoste (Westville, Nova Scotia), born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester DeCoste and Lillian DeCoste (Melong); and his sisters, Jean Pelrine and Shirley Pelrine. He is survived by: his wife Marion; his children, Tracy (Mark) and Chris (Crystal); his grandchildren, Hannah-Jane (Rob) and Gavin; his stepgrandson Hayden; his great grandchild Sebastion; and his siblings, Francis (Theresa), Marie Boucher (Hank), Tom DeCoste (Peggy) and Jacqueline Fougere (Junior). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
