It is with sadness that the passing of Gordon Melvin Hunter (Westville, Nova Scotia) is shared. Gordon, born on March 8, 1948, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hunter and Bertha Hunter; his daughter Lisa Hunter; his brothers, James Hunter and Dean Hunter; his sister-in-law Barb Hunter; and his niece Erin Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Heather Hunter (Bob), Cher Heighton (Wayne) and Patrick Hunter; his granddaughters, Olivia Martin (Ross) and Ava Surette; and his siblings, Joey Hunter (Cindy), Doug Hunter (Pam) and Melinda Hunter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eagles Funeral Home (1611 N Main St, Westville, NS B0K2A0).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gordon's memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Aberdeen Hospital.
