He is survived by : his wife Cathy (Trainor); his sons, Dana (Sandy) and Dale (Karen); his stepchildren, Lindsay and Craig; his grandchildren, Quinn, Kieran, Sydney and Ashley; his sister Debi Baird (Alex MacDonald); his nieces, Jackie and Jennifer (Andrew); and his nephew Darryl (Justine).

Donations in his memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
