He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Russell (Bill) and Mae Russell (MacKinnon); his children, Darlene Bates (James), Kevin (Darlene) and Stephen (Crystal); his grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Kyle, Brianna, Bradley and Megan; his great grandchildren, Freya, Jaxon, Gabriella, Margo, Carson and Peyton; and his siblings, Sally Emery, Betty Wood, Angus and Clarrie Russell. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
