He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Boates and Christina Boates (Cameron); his brother-in-law Brenton Daley; and his grandson Kaiden. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte (Langille); his children, Joey (Tracey), Kevin (April), Tanya (Robert) and Mike (Jamie); his grandchildren, Taya (Nehalem), Adrianna and Hailey (Brennon); his sisters, Shelia and Josephine (Cameron); and his nephew Brenton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
