He was predeceased by: his parents, Israel Young and Veronica Young (Benoit); and his siblings, Wilson, Edward and Venice Besaw.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Benoit); his children, Lenora Stevens (Eddie), Salem Road, Viola Miller (David), Whitecourt, Alta, Billie Young, Salt Springs, Jervis Young, Loch Broom, Veronica Young, Lower Sackville, Lorraine Greig, Los Angeles, Margie White (Rick) and Watervale; his grandchildren, Joey, Tommy, Chastity, Julia, Michael, Sophia, Chelsea, Coady, Jean-Guy, Kaitlyn and Jenna; and his great grandchildren, Meghan, Evan, Hannah, Joshua, Keiran, Conor, Dayne, Hunter and Aurora.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Ileitis and Colitis Foundation or the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
