She was predeceased by : her parents, Chalmers MacKay and Della MacKay (Corbett); her husband Carl; her daughter Lisa Dawn; her siblings, Marion Dickie (Guy), Doug (June) and Wilbert MacKay; her stepfather Percy Emery; and her stepbrothers, Brent and Les Emery.

She is survived by : her daughters, Judy and Sandra Foance (Raymond "Robert"); and her close friends, Joan MacGee and Doreen Oregan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
