We announce the death of Margaret Fraser (Westville, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 86. Margaret will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fitzpatrick and Isabelle Fitzpatrick (Badcock); her husband James Fraser; her siblings, John Tom, Susie and Maggie Fitzpatrick; and her granddaughter Brittany Panisiak.
She is survived by: her children, Marlene Bomback (Dale) of Lacombe, AB, Wanda Hefler (Chris), Leona Arnold (Doug), MacLellans Brook, Anita Atwater (Vince), Gairloch and Carl Fraser; her grandchildren, Aaron, Dustin Bomback, Kayla, Brianna Hefler, Courtney, Jessica Arnold, Roland and Serenah Atwater; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Aubrey, Raylene and Grace. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the palliative care unit at the Aberdeen Hospital.
