With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jeanette Fraser (Westville, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 20, 2025 at the age of 66. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Jeanette Fraser to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Kennedy and Irene Kennedy (MacNaughton); her husband Elwood Fraser; her siblings, James Daniel Kennedy, John Vernon Kennedy, Martha Jean Fraser and June Elizabeth Ann Cormier; her siblings-in-law, Charlie Fraser, David Zdan and Faye Kennedy; her parents-in-law, Lloyd and Evelyn Fraser; and her brother-in-law Bill Roddick.
She is survived by: her son Chris (Samantha); her daughter-in-law Samantha; her grandsons, Nolan and Mason; her siblings, Bill Kennedy (Colleen) of Burton, NB, Colleen Zdan (Bruce) of Duncan, BC and Cathy White (John) of Sussex, NB; and her siblings-in-law, David Cormier of Westville, NS, Leonard Fraser (Donna), Allan Fraser (Mary), Bev Clark (David), Iva Campbell (Keith), Dale Hislop (Donnie), Velda Fulmore (David) and Helen O'Connor (Chuck). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eagles Funeral Home (1611 N Main St, Westville, NS B0K2A0). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eagles Funeral Home Chapel (1611 N Main St, Westville, NS B0K2A0).
Flowers are welcome and donations in memory of Mary can be made to the Elwood Fraser's Multipurpose Barn, at the Pictou-North Colchester Exhibition.
