It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Cyr (Westville, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 19, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ruth Douthwright Gammon (Mason) and Cecil Douthwright; her significant other William "Sonny" Cyr; her sister Emily Bezanson; her brother-in-law Henry Bezanson; and her stepfather James Gammon.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sandra Cyr, Paula Cyr (Ernie Duff) and Guysborough Co; her grandchildren, Ashley Chennell (Jason), Kayla Cyr (Corey Lynch), Alexander, Aaron Duff (Jessica), Matthew Duff and Granton; her great grandchildren, Reed Chennell, Isabelle Duff and Dallas Duff; her sister Clara McCormick (Reid); her niece Nancy; and her nephews, Mark McCormick, John, Allan Bezanson and Pictou Co.
