He was predeceased by : his mother Olive; and his brother Wayne. He is survived by : his wife Judy; his children, John (Susan) and Trish (Randy Czerwinskyj); his grandchildren, Kieran, Ariana, Grayson and Rylan; his siblings, Glen (Mary), Theresa, Adele (Jude) and Gary (Carol); and his sister-in-law Muriel.
