It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Margaret MacKean (Westville, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 4, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike McDonald and Tena McDonald (MacPherson); her forever love Billie MacKean; her sister Rebecca McDonald; her brother-in-law James MacKean (Jimmie); and her in-laws, George and Eva Mackean.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Barbour (Blair), Cheryl MacKean (Derek), Stacey Hardy (Greg), Tara MacKean (Ken) and William Harry MacKean Jr.; her grandchildren, Piper, Aiden and Willow Barbour; her children, Kenny, Logan Newcombe, Hayden, Kolby, Dominic, Karley Hardy, Cameron, Eva Paynter and Lexi McKillop; and her siblings, Andrella Hodder (Fred) and Mike McDonald (Joyce).
Donations can be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Unit and or St Bee's Anglican Church.
