He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Henry and Frances Nellie Leithead; his wife Sarah "Sally" Margaret (MacNaughton); and his brother-in-law James "Jimmy" MacNaughton. He is survived by: his daughters, Sherma Hughes (Paul) and Sherida Leithead (Bill Chace); his granddaughter Jacey Hughes (Kelley Rowan); his daughters, Maddie Gallant (Brandon), Kinley and Kenzie Blackadar; his grandson Eli Hughes (Grace Kenny); his great grandchildren, Eloise Gallant and Hughie Gallant; his sister Chalene MacInnis (Dave); his siblings-in-law, Judy Lemieux, Ann Marie MacNaughton, Ron "Butch" MacNaughton (Evelyn) and Jim Lemieux; and his nieces and nephews, Bronwyn, Michelle, Sarah, Brittany, David and Paul.
