She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Palethorpe and Jim Palethorpe; her husband Bert MacDonald; her grandson James Haines; and her son-in-law Tommy Fraser.
She is survived by: her children, Jeannie Fraser, Jamie MacDonald (Kelley) and Sarah MacDonald; her brother Walter Palethorpe; her sisters-in-law, Elizabet MacLean and Phyllis Jaques (Terrance); her cousin Aileen Wright; her grandchildren, Kyle Fraser (Danielle), Carrie Fraser, Rebecca Schriver (Isaiah), Jordan MacLeod (James), Rachel MacDonald (Hunter), Ben MacDonald and Emily Haines; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Wyatt McCabe, Amaya Shriver, Ethan Fraser and Ruby MacLeod. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
