He was predeceased by : his wife Dorothy Evelyn; his parents, Richard Scully and Catherine Scully (Grant); and his siblings, Winnie Holt, Ritchie and Bernie Scully.
He is survived by : his girlfriend Janie Gordon; his son Ian Scully (Jane Bruce); his granddaughter Morgana Scully; his son Robbie Scully (Wendy); his grandchild Jamie; his daughter Brenda Scully (Cameron Pelley); his grandchildren, Aaron, Jason Pelley and Coalburn; his brother Vince "Freddie" Scully (Maria); his niece Barbie Scully; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tierra, Dylan (Amanda), Mackenzie, Spruce Grove and Alta; his siblings-in-law, Tim Holt (Sandra), Wellington, Kenny McLeod of Abbotsford, B. C., Cyril MacLeod (Eileen), Pat Scully, Boyle, Alta, Bonnie Scully of Courtney, B. C., Joan MacLeod, London and Ont; his uncle Vincent Grant; and his friend Donnie McDougall. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He also had a close relationship with Pictou Landing First Nations where he enjoyed sharing their history and was happy, he was able to make tangible contributions to their cultural collections.
