He is survived by: his children, Lindsay Fanning (Scott) and Nathan Hale; the mother of his children Kathy MacNaughton; his grandchildren, Brody, Ella Fanning, Mylie, Connor Hale and Grampie; his siblings, Scott of Westville, Bruce (Janet) of MacPherson's Mills and Wendy Bourque (Kim) of Westville; his sister-in-law Marion Hale of Westville; and his uncle James Hale (Mary) of Stellarton. He is also survived by several nieces and cousins.
