He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oscar and Sara Mary Jackson (Golding); his former wife Elsie Elizabeth (Wadden); his stepdaughter Charlotte Patriquin; and his siblings, Charles, Frederick, Helen, Violet, Mary and Jenny.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Burgoyne-Jackson; his children, Patricia McLellan-Lockhart, Allan Jackson, Kathleen Chisholm (Kenn) and William "Bill" Jackson (Anne); his grandchildren, Janet McLellan, Nancy Anningson, Sally Steves (David) and Michael Wilson (Taylor); his stepdaughters, Donna Graham (Doug), Deborah Shipley (Kevin) and Judith Graham; his sister Dorothy MacKinnon; and his sister-in-law Marguerite Munro. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren, and eight step-great grandchildren.
