We announce the death of Louis Richard Cook (Weymouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 89. Louis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Catherine Cook; his parents, Ralph Sidney Cook and Zoie Mary Cook; and his siblings, Carol, Doris, Eleanor, Marion, Kenny, Gordon, Merrill and Darrell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Delia Mullen (Rodney) and Vivian Potter (Roland); his grandchildren, Loretta Trefry, Louis McCaskil (Heidi) and Derrick Cook (Brittney); his great grandchildren, Dakota, Skyler, Ayden, Jackson, Ethan and Logan; his great great grandchildren, Mateo, Dallas and Luka; and his siblings, Earl (Joyce), Jacqueline and Cynthia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (24 Back St, Weymouth, NS B0W3T0).
